Vallecitos Water District Earns Top Transparency Certification: A Commitment I’m Proud to Champion
I'm thrilled to share some exciting news about the Vallecitos Water District! We’ve recently been awarded the “Transparency Certificate of Excellence” from the Special District Leadership Foundation, recognizing our district for achieving the highest standards of transparency. This is a testament to our unwavering commitment to open communication and accountability to our community.
One aspect of this achievement that I’m particularly proud of is the board’s decision to increase our email retention policy this year—a policy that I strongly advocated for. This step further strengthens our dedication to transparency and ensures that we remain fully accountable to the public.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our incredible team at Vallecitos for their hard work in making this possible, and to our customers for your continued trust and support. Transparency is not just a goal, it’s a foundational value that guides all of our decisions and actions.
